Our Love Story
Alisa and Amel met at a concert in New York. After catching each other’s eye across the room and speaking briefly at the bar, they spent the next day approving each other on social media. After liking each other’s pictures for a few months, Amel built up the courage to ask Alisa on their first date. Their first date was epic. They played ping pong, ate burgers, danced, and laughed for hours. Four years later, they are best friends, soulmates, dog parents, and badass partners in life.

Our Engagement
Amel proposed to Alisa on the rooftop of the LondonHouse Hotel in Chicago on August 4, 2020. Alisa thought that they were meeting their friends Enes and Aldina for drinks, but, little did she know, Amel’s proposal awaited. Alisa was surprised and couldn’t hold back the tears. Her best friend and the love of her life planned an epic proposal despite the global pandemic. This is a testament that love always wins.
